We'd love to have you on board.

The Skipping Stone was created with the vision of a literary magazine that collects the lives of individuals like one would collect a variety of special stones, and then set those stones skipping across the waterline to their marine destination.

And then,  we fetch from the river the stones that have already skipped and ask earnestly for a recollection of their ventures. Yes, The Skipping Stone Review is interested in your yesterday and is interested in your tomorrow.

By applying for a position, you're helping us to materialize this vision. Every new team member is a fresh perspective on the literary world!

MASTHEAD

Editor in Chief -- Amanda G.

Amanda, born and raised in small town New Jersey, has set her value on how quickly she can get to the other side of a lap lane through competitive swimming for eleven years. She is a chronic irish-exiter, Bowie enthusiast, career venture poet (all hail TSS), self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, and, unfortunately, a morning person.  The idea for The Skipping Stone came to her on a sunset walk around her neighborhood whilst recovering from a broken back. She has probably written about you before.

Magazine Editor

Ash K. Gray

Ash K. Gray is a young Egyptian author, poet and artist who can typically be spotted lurking within the shadows of horrors undefined or hanging in the swamps of comedies undivine. Wherever laughter erupts, or wherever all things gothic are born, that’s where Gray’s going to be; save for the occasional teleportation to the realms of other genres. By virtue of an inexplicable obsession with the art of storytelling and an astounding dislike of the overtly pretentious, Ash believes that if what's being laid down is entertaining and masterful enough, then it hits the spot. This particular humanoid critter’s work is forthcoming in Moonbow Magazine, Beneath The Mask and Midsummer Magazine. Also, you might be able to catch Ash with a net. Might.

Hi there, I am Nikolette Salas! I am a 16 year old Junior currently attending Tiyan

High School on an island called Guam. I don't know what I aspire to be, but I like the fact that I am in the unknown, because surprises always strike the best inspiration. I am currently in JROTC at my school and also in NHS. I really enjoy to sing, design, dance, write, and craft because it always gives me a piece of mind in this chaotic place. I am a hyperactive person who isn't afraid of new things that come my way.
